About Us:
Since 1897, Christodora's programs have helped NYC students from underserved communities grow and thrive by forming deep connections with the community and the natural world. Our "Nature, Learning, Leadership" environmental science and youth development programs operate in all season - in public school classrooms, in city parks, and at our own wilderness camps. Christodora students discover their academic and personal passions and develop 21st-century skills including team-building, perseverance, leadership, and environmental stewardship.

Christodora has a limited number of entries and is now accepting submissions for runners. If you are interested in participating, please read all of the information below, and then send an email to info@christodora.org.

Fundraising Requirements:
New York Road Runners (NYRR) requires that all runners havea fundraising minimum of at least $1,000. Runners also may not sharefundraising pledges or fundraise for more than one pledge through a singlefundraising page. Participating in the United Airlines NYC Half iscontingent upon reaching the fundraising minimum. NYRR requires runnersto use CrowdRise for all fundraising related to the 2020 United Airlines NYCHalf.
Registration Fees:
You will be required to pay the registration fee forNYRR. Registration fees are also subject to a $5 processing charge if therunner did not previously enter the non-guaranteed entry drawing. Allregistration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Deadlines:
To be considered as a runner, please email info@christodora.org before January20, 2019. Please note there are an extremely limited number of spotsavailable and not all requests can be honored. If you are motivated to run tohelp NYC youth, please contact us as soon as possible!
Race Week and Logistics:
All runners will be required tovisit the United Airlines NYC Half Expo to pick up their race materials. Fulldetails will be released closer to the date of the race.
Age Requirements: Allrunners must be at least 12 years old on the day of the marathon.
