Make a Difference in Your Own City

Imagine spending your weekend knee-deep in the Bronx River, surrounded by new and old friends, working together to protect and preserve beautiful green spaces.

Christodora’s award-winning New Youth Conservationists (NYC) program meets on Saturdays during the Spring and Fall to conduct science research projects, steward local parks, build community, and nurture future environmental leaders.

We are able to escape buildings and buses…to step outside, clean up a place our entire community shares, and feel we have made a difference.
